Ebisu Life Store

My family and I had a great time shopping at Ebisu Life Store! It’s a fun place to explore if you enjoy Japanese products and pop culture. They have a huge selection of Japanese snacks, drinks, household essentials, beauty products, soaps, and many other everyday items. There are also lots of hobby collectibles, including blind boxes, Gachapon capsule toys, and Pokémon cards, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The only disappointment was the Gundam model kit selection. For such a large Japanese store, I expected a much better variety of Gunpla, especially HG, RG, and PG premium kits. It would be amazing if they had a dedicated Gundam section with more choices for model builders. Overall, it’s still a fantastic store, and my family really enjoyed our visit. We’ll definitely come back to shop again!

Wow! Just wow! This store is incredible. So much kawai in one place. It's as much a feast for the eyes as it is a spectacular opportunity to purchase items that you've always wanted but can't afford a trip to Japan! 😊. I was browsing and ended up buying lavender toothpaste (it was lovely when I tried it at home), some fragrant laundry detergent camomile, a box of tea, mayonnaise and sesame dressings, and a last minute addition , low sugar avocado protein bars. I am looking forward to my next visit when I plan on buying some shampoo and conditioner. I'm just going to do a bit of research because there were so many choices I want to pick the right one for me. Oh, and while many of the products don't have any or much English on the actual package, the price label on the shelf below has the item description in English.

The store carries different Japanese and Asian products. There are housewares (plates, cups, chopsticks etc), stationery, cosmetics (make-up, skin care), snacks (relatively reasonable prices for KitKats), blind boxes and more. The staff is friendly and helpful. The parking lot is a little small but I had no issue finding a parking spot.

Ebisu Life Store is such a fun place to visit! Every time I stop by, I end up finding something new, whether it’s Japanese snacks, drinks, collectibles, or unique household items. The store is well organized, clean, and easy to browse, making it enjoyable to explore all the different products they carry. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere makes shopping here a great experience. It’s a great spot to discover authentic Japanese products or pick up a unique gift for friends and family. If you’re in the Albany area, I highly recommend stopping by. It’s become one of my favorite places to shop, and I’ll definitely be back.

They have a little bit of everything for the whole family, gifts for your friends, or you can just keep it all for yourself. Between all the snacks, viral fruit ice creams, stuffed animals, mystery boxes, anime figures and etc you will definitely be leaving happy! The staff is also so wonderful and willing to help if you have any questions. I saw an item with no pricing which is understandable with how many items they sell. They quickly looked up the price for me. After they were done helping me they proceeded to print out stickers to place on the other products so no one else would have any issues.
